Janet was born in Gulfport, MS. Her parents are Dot Brice and the late Carney Brice. She has one brother, Biloxi pediatric dentist, Dr. Buddy Brice.
Janet graduated from Biloxi High School, attended Louisiana State University and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center – School of Health Related Profession (Dental Hygiene Program).
She currently lives in Biloxi. She and her husband, Tim, are the proud parents of two sons, Brice and Austin. Both are graduates of Louisiana State University and the University of Mississippi, School of Dentistry.
Brice and his wife, Kendall, are currently living in Marietta, Georgia where he is a resident at the Georgia School or Orthodontics.
Austin and his wife, Amanda, are living in Biloxi and have one daughter. He received his post-graduate degree in pediatric dentistry from LSU and has joined his Uncle Buddy’s practice in Biloxi and Ocean Springs.
Janet is actively involved in First Baptist Church, Biloxi and Billikin’s Carnival Organization. Janet was appointed by the governor to serve as the Dental Hygienist-At-Large on the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners (2009-2015). While on the board she was also a member of the American Association of Dental Boards (AADB) where she served as the Dental Hygienist-At-Large on their Executive Board. She has served on the Dental Hygiene Exam Steering Committees for CDCA (Commission on Dental Competency Assessment), and ADEX (American Board of Dental Examiners). Janet has continued her membership in CDCA, serving as an examiner for the clinical exams that are given to graduating dental hygiene students.
Janet has been a part of the Norowski and Associates team for over 25 years. Her hobbies include boating, swimming, walking, tailgating at LSU, and spending time with her family.
